Field Day chairman Bruce, WB9WOZ is looking for band captains. He has openings on 15/80 voice, 40 voice and 6 meters.
With the sunspot numbers increasing FD this year should be a lot of fun. We also need a victu....eh volunteer for the
GOTA tent. Send email to Bruce if your interested at any of these positions.
We also need net controls for the Sunday night net starting May 23rd. Please email Murray if interested.
DARC is open to anyone interested in Amateur Radio. You do not need an Amateur License in order to attend our meetings or join our Club.
Meetings are held the 4th Monday of each month (except for the months of July and December). Meetings start at 7:30 pm (Central Time) and usually end, no later than 10:00 pm.

The Church is located at the corner of 55th Street and Richmond Avenue in Clarendon Hills. The church is located about 1 mile East of Cass Avenue or 1 1/2 miles West of Route 83.

DARC operates repeaters on 145.43 MHz (107.2 Hz PL),
224.68 MHz (110.9 PL), and 442.55 MHz (114.8 Hz PL) in the Chicagoland area.
The weekly net meets every Sunday evening at 9:00 pm (Central Time) on the 145.43 MHz (2 meter) repeater. The Net includes traffic, news, Amateur Radio NewsLine and "Swap & Shop." All 2 Meter Repeater Nets are also carried on the 224.68 repeater, including all weekly nets.

In one of the more bizarre screw-ups in Internet land, Google Chrome (the browser) oft times now refuses to send email via (you guesssed it)
Google Mail, aka GMAIL.
So, to send us an email using the links below, if you are using Chrome and Gmail, you will have to go to the Google Chrome Store and download and install the "mailto for Gmail" extension. (Its free). Why would Google do this to itself?
